Microsoft Web Publishing

Microsoft web Publishing

Microsoft offers two main Microsoft Web publishing software applications. They are Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft FrontPage. While not as robust and versatile as some of the premier Web publishing software, they are still more than effective, with the added benefit that they are fully compatible will all your other Microsoft software. Here is a listing of the Microsoft Web publisher software programs, as well as some helpful resources:

Microsoft Publisher. Considered more appropriate for use by non-designers, Microsoft Publisher since 98 delivers tools that, while not quite up to the standards of high-end programs, provide options not found in other consumer applications such as some process and spot color commercial printing, EPS and TIFF import, and PostScript output. For non-designers, the color and font schemes, Web wizards, and Web templates help ensure a more professional appearance.

Microsoft FrontPage. A powerful WYSIWYG editor that provides you with tools, like a photo gallery creator and ecommerce tool, that help create dynamic and interesting Web pages for developers. It gives you the ability to edit the HTML if you want. It offers the familiar interface of other Office products. Easy to use, it is very full featured and has many extras-especially if you post your pages to a server with Microsoft extensions enabled.

Free downloadable software called the Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard can be found on Microsoft's website. This may be a helpful resource to you. Also, there are various Web publishing tutorials found on Microsoft's website.
